I was born and raised in Milford, Connecticut where my love for New Haven Pizza and New England summers blossomed! I attended the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall for high school and then made my way to Poughkeepsie, NY for college at Marist University.
Growing up, I always found comfort in connecting with characters in media, which inspired my dream of creating art that resonates with audiences. I find it illuminating to learn about different life perspectives from the various characters I consume in media. When I was 18, I developed a deep passion for reading. Being able to escape into a good book became a comfort for me and something that I still hold close to my heart today.
Although I had a few part-time jobs in high school, college was the time for me to explore my interests in a professional setting. Throughout my college career, I had multiple internships and held various club positions that enabled me to learn more about myself and my work ethic. I learned that I loved to collaborate with others, but that I thrived just as much doing independent work. I learned how to effectively multi-task while executing the highest level of work possible. Organization is key for me in my work ethic, and I love a list just as much as the next person!
My first internship in college was at Dead Talk Media, an online entertainment outlet. I interned here for two summers, first as an Entertainment Writer and later as an Editor.
Throughout my time at Dead Talk Media, I learned how to efficiently translate my creative ideas to the page. I also enhanced my editing skills by reading other writers’ works and offering tips to make the articles ready for the world to read.
In 2024, I had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in London, England. During my time abroad, I interned at the Harrix Group as a Social Media Intern. In this role, I learned how to schedule and create social media content for clients. I also worked directly with senior staff members to ensure the client’s needs were met, and got to explore the city of London through a marketing lens.
On campus, I was active in several roles. I held an executive board position on the Student Programming Council, a club that organizes over 75% of late-night programming on-campus. I helped plan events such as the Spring Concert and welcomed comedians such as SNL's Sarah Sherman to the Marist Campus. I was also a Staff Writer for Marist University's student-run newspaper, the Marist Circle. I mainly wrote Opinion and Entertainment articles involving topics such as TV reviews and books. Finally, I was employed at the Marist Center for Career Services as a Peer Career Ambassador. In this position, I helped students review their resumes and find internships within their respective fields.
After graduating, I have been very grateful to have a few new experiences under my belt. I worked as a Freelance Videographer and Editor for Connoissuer Media, a Script Reader for the 2025 Austin Film Festival, and currently work as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble!
I am excited to begin my professional career and create media that captivates audiences.
